Description and Application:
As a certified ISO9001:2015 company, SAA GRID is a leading manufacturer of polymer suspension insulators of rated voltages from 10kV
to 1000kV and rated mechanical load from 70kN to 550kN.
And we also produce polymer pin insulators, polymer substation post insulators, polymer line post insulator, composite deadend insulator…
All the products comply with ANSI standard, IEC and relevant standards.
Polymer suspension and tension insulators are used for overhead line transmission for fastening and insulation of the high voltage lines.
Polymer insulators are the replacement for porcelain and glass insulators. Their performance is good at pollution area, and it can prevent
transmission line flashover effectively.

Silicon Rubber for sheds/housing
Glass-fiber reinforced epoxy resin rod (ECR type) for core
Hot dip galvanized cast steel for metal fittings
5000hours aging test from STRI Sweden & Prototype Test & Type Test & Factory Test ( Routine and Sampling Test )
Above 110kV also need corona rings

Polymer Suspension Insulator--Ball and Socker Insulator
① Shed connected with core by integral forming
② Metal end fittings, core and sheds connected by new crimping process
③ The thickness of housing > 3mm, uniform thickness, confirm to IEC Standard
④ Acid resistant, high temperature resistant of epoxy fiberglass core
⑤ The material of metal end fittings is used with hot galvanization and technology of rare earth aluminum
coating to avoid coating shedding when crimping, prolonging the service life of the product
